Long Story Short:
A doctor is struggling with her bipolar disorder that is slowly taking over her private life and job.
Review:
Does anyone remember NBC’s TV-show Do No Harm? Probably not since they cancelled it after only two episodes. The main idea was showing the emotional rollercoaster of a doctor who is fighting with an alter ego, that slowly takes over his whole world. Why did no one respond to this concept? I believe the answer is a lack of advertisement. There was also the script that seemed rather lifeless than vivid, but if it hadn’t been cancelled after only two episodes I am sure I would have stuck around for a few more since the acting was at least a little above average and the storyline had potential, even though it started very slow.
Given the fact above, why would anyone expect that a show with basically the same concept but a different gender in the lead could have more success, or even bother airing it? Curious as I am I still checked out this new ABC drama that is aired right after Grey’s Anatomy … smart move I may ad… and got exactly what I expected: Nothing. The acting is… I wanna say enough??… but the script, the dialogues and the character development are too dull and boring for me. I barely made it through the first episode and didn’t even consider watching the second one. I usually give anyone the benefit of the doubt, but this show didn’t deserve any.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from it, the sooner this show is cancelled the better are the chances we might get a better drama to watch. I have never seen Kelly Reilley before but I think she can act, and surely hope she gets the chance to appear in another ABC project.
