12 Rounds 2 – Reloaded Review (2013) – A typical WWE – Production

Category: Action/ Thriller
Actors: Randy Orton, Cindy Busby, Brian Markinson
Duration: 95 min
Rated: R

You might like this movie if you enjoyed:
Saw (2004), The Marine (2006), 12 Rounds (2009)

The Story: A paramedic receives a phone call during a routine operation which turns into a deadly game. The caller tells him he has to follow his instructions and survive 12 rounds of different tasks that slowly lead him to the answer of why he was chosen.

Review: Whenever I see that a movie is a WWE- production I expect little story, muscular men and lots of action, and sometimes it’s being done in a good way and then other times it’s not. This time I would say it is average, it’s not a disappointment but it is not a big hit either. The amount of action is great, the actors are … well… acting, but the story gets a little old after a while and doesn’t seem to go anywhere. And what really bugs me is the title, because I don’t see any connections to part one besides the “12 rounds of tasks”- part. At times it reminded me of Saw with less violence. If you have seen 12 Rounds and liked it you will enjoy this one, too. It actually looks more polished than part one. For anyone else who likes no-brainer action every now and then, this is the one to watch.
