Category: Animation/Comedy
Actors: Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman
Duration: 98 min
Rated: PG

You might like this movie if you enjoyed:
Ice Age (2000), Shrek (2001)

Long Story Short: The Croods live in a time where animals seem to rule over humans. They are usually in a cave unless they need food. They live by strict rules and that’s what keeps them alive. Everything seems to work fine, until they lose their cave through an earthquake. Now they have to discover a whole new world full of danger and excitement.

Review: Expecting just another cute animation, I was pleasantly surprised when I watched The Croods. I was very entertaining, the characters had voices matched together perfectly, and I could have actually sit through at least 30 more minutes. I heard rumors that a second part is going to be released in 2017, and I can’t wait to see how it’s going to turn out. Two thumbs up for this crazy, fun, prehistoric Ride!

Rating: 8/10

  1. I enjoyed this movie too, although I found it a little repetitive as an adult.. the dad is just all about saying NO, and the girl just wants adventure and it just repeats that over and over.. but the scenery is brilliant 🙂
