Review:
The Exorcist is definitely a must see have for horror fans. Linda Blair gives one of the most intense and surreal performances I have ever seen in a movie. At that time she was 19 years old, but was totally believable in the role of twelve year old Regan. Her spider walk down the stairs was timeless and the scene with the cross makes me feel uneasy and cover my eyes just thinking about it. This movie has definitely a high creep factor. You think hardcore slasher flicks are boring? Watch The Exorcist you might end up on the edge of your seat. The soundtrack is very effective, the cinematography is great, the actors can act, and you are left totally freaked out. What else is there to expect from a horror movie?

Rating: 7.5/10
