Long Story Short:
A group of friends travels along the country to see where Stephen King is supposed to live. Luckily one of them owns a cottage at that same lake. But when they arrive in the small town, people act very strangely and soon they’ll understand why.

Review:
You Can’t Kill Stephen King is also known as Shush or Die, but I think none of the titles sounds very inviting or catchy. But since I like Stephen King I thought it wouldn’t harm to watch it. Besides the incredibly low sound quality of the movie, which made it hard to understand what the actors were saying but at the same time almost made my ears explode when music was playing, I didn’t have a bad time. The actors are only half bad and most importantly: The movie doesn’t take itself seriously. So with that said, it is not a milestone in movie history but it is a silly little horror parody, using all cliches that are even possible from characters to plot, and has many smart references to Stephen King novels, short stories or movies.
I just wished the quality was a little better, because it is really bad.
