So what happened was…
Anthony was allowed to cut hair since he is a trained hair stylist. While Kim was out on business her mother was supervising him, and when she tried to give him advice, and critiqued his work, he first started talking bad behind her back which then lead to a heated argument between the two. When Kim heard that he disrespected her mother she immediately pulled him off the floor and made him assisting the other hair stylists until further notice. China got in an argument with Vivica A. Fox for showing up late, delivering the wrong wigs for her photo shoot, and then catching an attitude. Kim thinks she has to face her mistakes and fix it. Dontay, Angela and Anthony showed up drunk after their lunch break. Leah sends them all home for acting crazy and unprofessional. Kim addresses them the next day, explaining that whatever they do reflects on her and she is not messing around when it comes to her business.

I was surprised when I saw Kim Kimble getting upset after I blogged about the show last time. It was almost as if she had read it, because she started stepping up, quit playing and around and even said, “When it comes to my brand, I am not joking around!” She addresses her staff in a more serious way, while still being the laid back and fun hair stylists who – judging by the way she speaks – spends a lot of time with drag queens. The stylists seem to respect her more, too. I think what made her realize that it is time to do something was the incident with Vivica Fox. At the end of the day everyone is replaceable, but to build up a bad reputation might last forever. I hope she stays strong.
