Long Story Short: Gru wants to be the biggest villain of all time, but when someone steels the pyramids he is threatened to lose the title. So he comes up with the biggest and most evil idea anyone ever had: To steal the moon. But in order to steal the weapon that can shrink the moon from Vector, a spoiled youngster, he has to adopt the three orphans Agnes, Margo and Edith, who unwillingly help him to get access to Vector’s house. However as the three demanding but charming girls live with Gru, he slowly starts wondering why he wants to be the most evil person in the world.

Nice animation and graphics. The story is different and takes a different turn than it usually does in movies for children, and the main characters including the minions are adorable and very funny. However, there is a certain spark missing, and Vector’s character is so annoying to me that it almost messes up the entire movie. I don’t think a villain has to be completely dumb and annoying, but I guess the writers thought it would be funny. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it wasn’t funny. Luckily, Agnes and the minions saved the movie and made it fun to watch.
