Storyline: Pat (Bradley Cooper) just got released from a mental institution because he had caught his wife cheating and attacked the guy she was sleeping with. But how will he get in touch with her when she has filed a restraining order against him? Through his best friend he meets Tiffany, who is known as the town slut ever since her husband died. My Review: Silver Linings Playbook is a very sweet and fun grown-up comedy with smart dialogues, that shows that even if it seems like life is over, it might just be the beginning of a new chapter. Jennifer Lawrence deserved an Oscar for her performance, which was not only authentic but also intense, emotional, deep and funny at the same time. She proves that there is hope for the new generation of actors. Bradley Cooper is an amazing performer and can morphe into almost every role, so it wasn’t a surprise that this role is just right for him. Even the supporting characters like Chris Tucker, Julia Stiles and Robert DeNiro brought their a game and helped this movies to become a very entertaining comedy. At times it felt a little long but besides that I enjoyed it.
My rating: 7/10
