Long Story Short:
Sirens shows the life of three EMT’s who couldn’t be any more different, but they have one thing in common: They love their job. oh… and their private lives are kind of a mess.

Review:
Sirens got my laugh ever since the first episode and I haven’t stopped. I especially love the characters: the three protagonists contain of a narcissist with a soft side, an extremely awkward and sometimes clueless/innocent guy, and a sarcastic gay. The fact that they don’t only work together but would do anything for each other is what I really like about them. It shows that there shouldn’t be any groups sheltering themselves from each other; only because you think you are too cool for school you are not unable to be friends with someone who’s unsure of himself. Also, a butch straight guy can still be best friends with a gay guy, and vice versa! Show me your friends and I tell you who you are! I would love to be friends with all of them.
The writing is sarcastic, witty, funny and smart! Everyone is committed and the viewers can feel that. This show is a shout out to diversity and doesn’t rely on stereotypes while doing that.

Rating: 8/10

  1. Watched the pilot and I liked it. It was funny and had a nice sense of heart that I could tell they’d continue to build-on over time. Will probably catch it all if shows up on Netflix. Good review.
