Review:
Torture movies seem to be the trend these days, and they have usually the same concept: A group of people is gathered together, it doesn’t really matter if they are friends or stranger, but usually they have something in common. Next enters the evil genius who starts torturing them for no reason or have them torture each other, and at the end there is a very unsatisfying explanation of why these people had to go through all this, sometimes the viewer is left clueless. In this case we get the weakest explanation of all time, which leads to a more than confusing ending. Art? Freedom of creativity? I don’t know, but for me it was just a big load of crap. I am sorry, but if you make a movie with a common concept you have to bring something new, and this was not the case here. The actors weren’t too bad but that didn’t help with senseless dialogues and a story that went nowhere. The Movie Poster says “This Dinner party’s gonna be killer”. They forgot the “boring” all the way at the end.
