You might like this movie if you enjoyed:
Miss Congeniality (2000), Bridesmaids (2011)

Long Story Short: Uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) has to team up with the rough and outspoken agent Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy) in order to shut down a drug business. This case is going to be a hell of a ride, and even though they don’t like each other they have to work together as a team, which is not always easy.

Review: I am so glad I saw this movie tonight, after a very stressful week I needed something to unwind, and this movie definitely did its job. The whole movie theater was laughing and screaming because the two leading characters have been doing such an amazing job. It was hysterical how the two were interacting with each other, and it was obvious that Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy like each other because they had such a great chemistry. The gags were on point and there wasn’t a dry moment at any time. I think this could actually become a successful franchise if enough people watch it. A fair warning: The jokes are not always clean, but not as crude as in Bridesmades (both movies have the same director, Paul Feig). If you are a fan of any of the two leading ladies you will not be disappointed! But I am not a fan of the poster, whoever did that should be fired!

Rating: 9/10

  1. I wasn’t going to see the movie but since it’s directed by the same person behind “Bridesmaids,”—I have to watch it now! Great review Simon 🙂
