Alien (1979), Prometheus (2012)

Long Story Short: A space- crew of six highly intelligent and motivated people is traveling to space, hoping to discover life. The video connection with the crew finds a sudden ending and they disappear. Luckily, their complete video diary can be retrieved. This is the footage.

Review: I have read about the movie and actually thought it sounds very interesting, especially since it was supposedly developed with NASA and includes a scientifically accurate representation of space. What I liked about the movie that it wasn’t like a normal found-footage movie, because it had actually music to intensify the moods, which made it seem like a high- quality documentary. Even though there is not too much going on, I didn’t get bored and actually enjoyed the movie until its very end. The shots from space are beautiful and the atmosphere is great. Finally a decent movie of this genre.

Rating: 6.5/10
