Happy Death Day – Scary Movie, Scary Fun

Happy-Death-Day-1

Genre: Horror/Comedy

You might like this movie if you enjoyed:
Scream (1996)
Urban Legends (1999)

Long Story Short:

A shallow college student has to relive the same day over and over again in order to find her killer.

Quick Review:
After watching the trailer, I couldn’t wait to see the movie, which actually made me think it was going to be bad. But it wasn’t… at all!

It was an easy watch, fun writing and acting, had a few cliché characters, like the bitchy sorority leader no one wants to mess with, or the mean girl cliques in general, the geek that usually doesn’t get the girl, but all that doesn’t matter because it is still a clever movie with lots of twists.

It is not a dark, scary or disturbing horror movie, it is more of a horror comedy that pays Hommage to the horror movies from the late 90s, and I loved it.

I am actually looking forward to part 2.
