I know What you Did last Summer (1997), Scream 2 (1997)

Long Story Short:
Woodsboro, California. A teenage girl and her boyfriend get brutally killed. The quiet town is in shock and reminisces the death of Sidney Prescott’s mother one year ago. Is it the same killer? And how can they stop him when the whole town is scared of him?

Review:
Scream set the milestone for all teen horror slashers and hardly any of what followed could reach up to what this movie has to offer: drama, gore, comedy, suspense, thrill and mystery. Drew Barrymore sets the tone with her tiny role in the beginning and the other actors keep the pace up. It doesn’t get boring, the characters are not as one dimensional as they usually are and the conclusion was one of the biggest WTF- moments I ever had back in the day. Of course now you could figure out the twist because there have been so many movies out that tried to copy the same concept but didn’t succeed. Scream is a must see for every horror movie fan.

Rating: 8/10
